The free Plate-Making workshops for the Made in Philipstown Banquet were a resounding success with more than 200 residents--adults, teens, kids--making their beautiful plates for the Banquet.  Some of the makers had never made anything in clay and had a fabulous experience, as did everyone who came.  The amazing teacher Lisa Knaus is now very busy firing the plates-not once but twice.

Tom Ptacek of Ptacek Home is busy creating the lovely wooden trivets that will be offered as gifts to donors.

Joe Regele has designed a beautiful 8-foot wooden bench to be branded with the Made in Philipstown logo. A team of can-do makers will build and brand the 80 benches for the 300-foot table.  These will also be gifts offered to donors.
